3/10/10
Wednesday slow walk. Since you have all been working so hard the last couple weeks on fitness and running the mile last week for the Fitness Gram Testing, today we will take it easy and work-in. TIme to "cultivate" more energy then you expend by walking slow, laughing, talking with your friends, and soaking in the sun. Have a lovely day. Peace
Update! 5 on 5 Basketball draft was huge today. We have 18 teams and 110+ students ready to battle for the Sierra Vista Basketball Championship. Games begin tomorrow. If you still want to play see me asap.

5 on 5 Basketball sign-ups will be on Tuesday, March 9 at 12:05 out on the blacktop. There will be a draft and all students will be put on a team. Girls I highly encourage you to play. See me if you have any questions.
Teachers lost to the students yesterday in the annual 3 point contest. Well done students you have taken us down 3 years in a row. Special props to Aaron karatos. He was on fire. Not to worry we will crush in the staff vs student softball game coming up next month.

"Cocochia Bars" Over the next few weeks we are going to learn about healthy energy bars you should be eating. Most energy bars are filled with junky, sugar, additives and preservatives and bad fats. The energy bars I recommend are loaded with nutrients, have healthy fats, fiber, good protein and are gluten free. Once you try the Cocochia Bars go to the Living Fuel website and buy a box or two. In my opinion Living Fuel has the best protein and greens drink on the market. We will also be eating Greens+ bars, and Bumblebars which can be bought at Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe's, and Mother's Market. More to come.
